Biotec BetaGlucans AS is the operating unit within Lallemand responsible for R&D and manufacturing of beta-1,3/1,6- glucans from yeast. Biotec BetaGlucans operates a production facility and quality control lab that are both GMP and ISO 13485 certified.
We are spearheading research on products that may prevent or treat diseases caused by failure, imbalance and over-reaction of the immune system. Over many years we have invested heavily into R&D, generating a portfolio of products and technologies in areas such as; nutrition, wound care, skin care, pharmaceuticals and ingredients for animal health. We also hold an extensive patent portfolio all based on beta-1,3/1,6-glucan formulations.
